My name is Amir Reza Saffari Azar Alamdari, and this is my personal homepage. I’m currently studying my PhD and working as research assistant at the Institute for Computer Graphics and Vision, Graz University of Technology. If you wonder what is my first and family name after reading that long name, Amir Reza is my first name, and Saffari Azar Alamdari is my family name, but you can call me simply Amir Saffari.
My research field is currently focused on Machine Learning and its application to Computer Vision, specially unsupervised learning methods for object categorization, recognition, and tracking.
Here on my website, you can find information about my research, publications, and also a few toolboxes that I have written for my research, like Biological Neural Networks Toolbox for Matlab (BNN Toolbox), Recurrent Self-Organizing Maps Toolbox for MATLAB (RSOM Toolbox), and the CLOP which contains additions to another MATLAB-based machine learning toolbox called SPIDER.
